Monument Group Announces Two New Partners
BOSTON, January 05, 2016 — Monument Group, a leading independent alternative investment fund placement agent, has announced the promotion of Meredith A. Gendron, CFA and Niklas K. Amundsson to Partners. Ms. Gendron is located in Monument Group’s Boston office and Mr. Amundsson in the firm’s Hong Kong office. In addition to Boston and Hong Kong, Monument Group has offices in London and Tokyo with a total of 33 employees, including 14 Partners.

Ms. Gendron joined Monument Group in 2005 and is responsible for fund due diligence and analytics. She previously worked at Olson Global Markets as a technical analyst, where she was responsible for creating a series of reports detailing trading strategies for domestic equities based on technical indicators.
Mr. Amundsson joined Monument Group in 2015 and is responsible for investor coverage in Asia and Australia. He previously spent seven years at MVision, where he directed their Hong Kong office. Prior to MVision, he was with Almeida Capital in London, where he was responsible for the firm’s fundraising business, and with Credit Suisse First Boston in London and Frankfurt, where he worked on the equity sales desk, raising capital for structured products as well as selling equities to Nordic and German‐ speaking institutional clients.
